Role Description

Hope Matters Institute is looking for a compassionate and motivated Associate-Level Therapist (ACSW, AMFT, APCC) for a full-time remote position. In this role, you’ll provide relationship counseling, family therapy, and mental health support in a warm, collaborative, and professional environment. Qualifications

Required :

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field
• Registered or licensed in California as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC
• Must reside in California
• Approximately 1,000 hours of direct client contact already completed toward full licensure
• Skilled in providing individual counseling, family therapy, and mental health support to diverse client populations
• Proficient in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention
• Strong understanding of psychological principles, counseling techniques, and evidence-based practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
• Timely documentation is an essential part of quality care; therapists are expected to complete notes within 24 hours of each session.
• Demonstrated common sense, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
