In this position, your responsibilities will include :
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, conducting special tests, and documenting care in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess and monitor patients' conditions.
- Assessing and evaluating patient needs and their responses to care provided.
- Making informed nursing judgments in the management of patient care.
- Providing emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administering both over-the-counter and prescription medications as directed.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop individualized Plans of Care for all patients.
- Guiding ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.1-3 years of prior clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.Exceptional communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills are essential.Familiarity with quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques, demonstrating the ability to utilize them for ongoing departmental and patient care quality improvements.Thank you for considering a career with us!
