Telemetry RN Job Details

Location : Lima, Ohio (45801) – Ohio healthcare jobs

Unit : 6K General Medical-Surgical / Telemetry & Renal (28 beds)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nurse contract

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Shift : 12-hour nights; every other weekend & holiday required

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680-$1800

Travel Position : Local candidates not accepted

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state

Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting

BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be from an approved source prior to direct patient care)

Dysrhythmia Exam required (study guide available)

Preferred : CAPD experience, proficiency with drips (Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin), and advanced respiratory modalities (Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula)

EPIC EHR experience preferred

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments; analyze telemetry data and develop individualized care plans

Safely administer medications and manage IV drips according to hospital policy

Interpret telemetry every 4 hours; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and advocate for patient needs

Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge planning

Utilize advanced respiratory modalities; care for patients with multi-system organ failure or trauma

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EHR system

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards

Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment
