The Application Architect serves as a pivotal role between the Program Architect and Principal Software Engineer, providing essential technical direction and oversight across various scrum teams within a program. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Architect to understand business needs and identify technical solutions. Collaborating with other Program Architects and Application Architects, the Application Architect will foster innovation, reusability, stability, scalability, and consistency across programs. The role involves offering technical direction for scrum teams during specific initiatives, assisting with initial proof of concepts, and creating template builds. Moreover, the Application Architect will provide ongoing technical oversight and mentoring across scrum teams, ensuring alignment with established architectural directions. Additionally, the position entails participation as an individual contributor for complex tasks and proof of concept projects. The role requires continuous research into new technologies and tools to stay current with emerging trends and to introduce novel opportunities for innovation.
