Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager at the Duluth Outlet Store supports the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store and warehouse. This individual plays a key leadership role by opening and closing the store, training and supervising team members, supporting donation and processing operations, and ensuring smooth communication with eCommerce, transportation, and warehouse departments. The Outlet environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring a hands-on leader who can maintain workflow efficiency, motivate staff, and ensure adherence to Goodwill standards and policies.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-paced, physical environment. Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word). Clear and effective communication skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays. Ability to lift / carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Experience and Education
High school diploma or GED strongly preferred. Minimum 1 year of retail or supervisory experience.
Physical Requirements

CONSTANT : Stand and near vision.
FREQUENT : Bend neck; talk / speak; and visual accommodation.
OCCASIONAL : Medium work, lift and carry up to 50 pounds; rotate neck, static neck position; walk; hear within 5 feet and midrange vision. This role involves a high level of physical labor in a warehouse environment.
