Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Plant, incumbent performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled tasks in the maintenance, alteration and repair of utilities, buildings, and related facilities and equipment, including but not limited to : basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural work. The specific duties of the position vary depending on work assignments.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications :

• Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and JCAHO standards
• Position is subject to the California DMV's "Pull Notice System" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
• Must work overtime or alternate shifts as required to meet hospital needs
• Current State of California Driver's License
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings and manufacturers technical manuals
