Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse (Accepting New Grads)

Department : Float Pool

Shift : Full-Time, Days

The Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care across various units within our healthcare facility. As a member of our dedicated team, you will provide both direct and indirect nursing support, ensuring a high standard of care while fostering effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), utilizing your skills to make a positive impact on patient well-being.

Responsibilities :

Perform direct patient care tasks, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities, in line with LPN regulations.

Provide care across multiple units as assigned, swiftly adapting to diverse patient needs and protocols.

Monitor, document, and report on patient conditions and any changes to the supervising RN.

Assist with care coordination and provide education for patients and families.

Support RNs in implementing and assessing personalized patient care plans.

Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.

Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards diligently.

Qualifications :

Education, Experience, Training :

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required at time of hire and must be maintained.
• Preferred : a minimum of one year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.

Compensation : Saint Clare's Health offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package tailored to meet your needs. The salary range for this role is $33.00 to $36.62 per hour, with final compensation determined based on qualifications and experience.
