Day in the life of an EPIC Analyst :
The Epic Analyst is responsible for the designing, building, testing, installation and support of software applications required for the utilization of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. As a member of an application team, this individual contributes to the scope and design of system maintenance, enhancements, and upgrade.

Here is what you will be doing :
Acts as the primary support contact for the application's end-usersIdentifies issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and works to resolve themGuides workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated with Epic softwareIdentifies and implements requested changes to the systemMaintains regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in team meetingsWorks with Epic representatives and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's or department’s needsDevelops an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's or department’s workflows which may include attending site visits and other integrated sessionsParticipates in training and working with end usersTroubleshoots problems and questionsProvides clear, accurate, and timely communication to leadership regarding risks to the status of build, installation, enhancements, or timeline.Holds regular communications with team members and end user to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, and upcoming milestones / enhancementsMay travel for training or work with remote clients and be available outside of normal business hours for rotation on call dutiesDepartment / Role Specific Responsibilities :
CHARGE MASTER : Supports Epic Charge Master. Responsible for maintaining the integrity, compliance and federal regulations of the information in the CDM. Has knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding patient billing and compliance information.
MOBILE APPS : Leads an integrated team that supports most areas utilizing Epic mobile apps contained on approved smart devices. Responsible for device configuration with a basic understanding of Epic mobile apps including but not limited to Rover, Haiku, MyChart Bedside, Canto.
SECURITY AND ENVIRONMENT RELEASE : Defines and implements the change control processes and coordinates key Epic environment activities including updates, upgrades, and migration strategies. This position effectively manages the Security and SER integrate team, displays an understanding of Epic's security infrastructure, provisions security for users, and maintains the Provider and Resource (SER) master file.

Bachelor's degreeo OR, Associate’s and two (2) or more years of job-related experience
o OR, High School diploma (or equivalent certificate from an accredited program) and four (4) or more years of job-related experience
Two (2) or more years of healthcare and / or information systems experience (may be concurrent)One (1) or more years of experience project based teamwork (may be concurrent)90 Days : Epic certification and / or able to achieve Epic certification within 90 days of last Epic certification classNice to have :
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant areaThree years of experience in electronic health record (HER) development and supportTwo years of project-based experienceAbout Cheyenne Regional :
