Ambulatory Surgery RN

Alliance Surgery Center in Metairie, Louisiana, is looking for a driven RN to join our Ambulatory Surgery team. • Types of procedures : pain injections, stimulator / pain pump trials, endoscopies, colonoscopies, etc.\n\nJob Summary : \n
• Responsible for coordinating care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other interventions.\n
• Requires excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize / triage the needs of the patients and the practice.\n
• Occasionally works in emergent patient care situations requiring critical thinking and prompt assessment skills.\n
• Will perform age-related patient assessment and intervention as well as scheduling tests and interventions per provider order.\n
• Responsible for utilizing the professional nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients across the age continuum in an ambulatory setting.\n\nRequirements : \n
• BSN graduate preferred. ADN graduate eligible\n
• Current Louisiana RN licensure in good standing\n
• Has practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last year\n
• Current BLS certification\n
• Current ACLS Certification\n
• Endoscopy Technician and nursing experience preferred / Pain nursing preferred\n
• Medical-surgical experience is required. Critical care, surgical, or procedural experience preferred\n\nJob Type : Full-time\n\nPay : $35.00 - $38.00 per hour\n\nExpected hours : 30 – 40 per week\n\nBenefits : \n
