Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cath Lab to join our team in Sonora, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and administration of cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer medications and contrast agents as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications :
Current RN licensure in the state of California.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on cardiac catheterization or related cardiac care preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.Benefits :
