A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Required to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• Patient ratios of 1 : 5 to 1 : 6 depending on level of care
• Day shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Night shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Telemetry competency required
• Acute inpatient care experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• Required certifications : BLS / ACLS
• Floating required to ED hold area and inpatient units
• Dress code : Navy and / or white top, navy bottom, all white
• Work with telemetry equipment
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Perform typical inpatient medical / step-down procedures
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focused approach, kindness, and compassion
