Position Summary :
The Office Manager is a dual role responsible for overseeing both human resources functions and office operations. This position manages the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance, while also ensuring the efficient and effective management of office facilities, administrative processes, and vendor relationships. The HR & Office Manager plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, supporting employee success, and maintaining a well-organized and productive office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily office operations, including facilities management, office supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor management.
- Provide administrative support to employees and management, and address office-related needs and requests promptly and professionally.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, address employee relations issues, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring. Oversee new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication of benefits information to employees.
- Assist in the performance management process, including providing guidance to managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development.
- Develop and implement efficient administrative processes and systems to streamline office operations and improve productivity.
Qualifications :
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.Strong employee relations skills, with the ability to effectively address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, with a broad understanding of all HR functions.Proven ability to manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.Experience in developing and administering performance management systems to drive employee performance and development.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, vendors, and management.Ability to think strategically, align HR initiatives with business goals, and provide valuable insights and guidance to leadership.
