Escandon Diagnostic Clinic is a private established practice with a large patient population located in Mission, TX. We are looking for an energetic, positive and patient person to fill in our Full-Time Nurse Practitioner position immediately. Candidate must be Spanish speaking and possess a strong work ethic. Escandon Diagnostic Clinic is searching for the perfect fit who is dedicated to treating our patients with respect. A focus on time management is key for the success of the candidate. Experience in a high-volume clinic is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform routine checkups on patients.
• Keep detailed notes of the patient.
• Provide quality healthcare to patients.
• Take part in further education opportunities.
• Treat patients in the office for minor injuries.
• Perform minor procedures.
• Create a care plan for a patient.
• Analyze reports, test results, medical records, and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
• Discuss potential side effects of medication / treatment with patients and ensure that allergy information is up to date before prescribing medication / treatment.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
• Record complete, timely and legible medical records.
