Your purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Product Manager (GPM) to lead the strategy and execution for one of Bitso's core pillars, Money Movement : Payments Ramps (deposits, withdrawals, reconciliations, etc). This role is responsible for leading a team of product managers, defining product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring best-in-class payment ramps here at Bitso. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class crypto and fiat ramps and collaborate with our primary business units to enable their products that empower customers through all of Bitso's product offerings for both retail and business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial markets, trading, product, and compliance, with a proven track record in the financial technology sector.

Who You Are

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is an additional plus, but not required) to collaborate with business and technical areas both within and outside of Bitso.
• Experience : 2-5+ years of product management leadership experience directly managing and onboarding product managers. 5+ years of experience in product with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling financial tech products. Demonstrated experience in the Fintech or Crypto industry, with focus on payments ramps, is highly preferred. Experience managing high-volume, revenue-generating products is essential.
• Domain Expertise : Strong understanding the financial industry. Knowledge and sensibility toward financial regulations and compliance requirements. Strong understanding of both fiat and crypto ramps and the financial flows including reconciliation.
• Technical Skills : Solid grasp of software development processes and methodologies like agile or shape-up. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Looker, DataDog, Amplitude, etc). Sufficient technology knowledge and context to work with engineering teams.
• Soft Skills : Leadership skills, growing and investing in the product management team as direct reports. Ability to prioritize among many high priority tasks across multiple business units. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making. Proven leadership and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive project completion under tight deadlines. Adaptability and resilience to comfortably navigate under uncertainty and thrive in a volatile and cyclical industry. High level of responsibility and ability to work autonomously and independently. Capacity to successfully translate problems into actionable solutions in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
