Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing patient-centered care in a combined Family Practice and Urgent Care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, as well as acute care for urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespan
• Provide urgent care services, including minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and wound care
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC)
• Valid state RN and APRN licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in family practice and/or urgent care preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Work Schedule:

• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Rotating shifts between family practice and urgent care
