Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.

The ideal candidate will provide care to patients 16 years of age and older with primary cardiac diagnoses.

Patient diagnoses includes heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and cardiothoracic surgeries.

Responsibilities include the management of various cardiac devices and therapies.

The unit is a blended one with both intensive care and intermediate care beds.

The nursing team is dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

Advanced certification is encouraged and professional growth is supported.

A robust training program is provided for both beginner and advanced cardiovascular intensive care.

The multidisciplinary team consists of various support services.

Continuous learning and mentorship opportunities are available.

This role requires teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals across disciplines.

A strong foundation in cardiovascular care and critical thinking skills is essential.
