    • Position Overview

    The Plumbing Operations Manager is responsible for leading and continuing the development of our residential and commercial plumbing divisions. This includes overseeing plumbers, ensuring world-class customer experiences, and maintaining strong operational performance. You'll be the bridge between the field and the office, helping drive revenue, efficiency, and team morale.

    You'll work directly with ownership to execute strategy, develop systems, and build a scalable service department that delivers consistent results and happy customers.

    What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and support residential / commercial plumbers and helpers to deliver top-tier service.
  • Monitor, manage and assist with daily schedules, dispatching and workflow efficiency.
  • Oversee customer satisfaction, handle escalations, and ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
  • Track key performance metrics – revenue, conversion rates, reviews, and profitability.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, trainings, and performance reviews.
  • Complete bids for commercial jobs (no new construction) from $3k-$100k.
  • Ensure pricing, presentation, and customer communication are consistent with company standards.
  • Maintain safety and compliance with all state and local plumbing codes.
  • Partner closely with ownership to refine processes, reporting, and long-term department goals.
  • Help identify and recruit new plumbing talent as the business scales.
  • Represent the Double M brand with professionalism and leadership.

    • What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of plumbing management or lead technician experience.
  • Deep understanding of residential and commercial plumbing service operations.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, specifically related to the plumbing industry.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling ability.
  • High integrity and alignment with company values.
  • Licensed plumber preferred (but not required if highly experienced leader).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    • Pay Range

    $85,000 – $115,000+ per year

    Base salary + performance-based bonuses tied to team results.
