Job descriptionProvide professional medical services in a correctional facility Administer examinations, diagnose medical issues, prescribe medications, and provide treatment and follow-up care Participate in treatment team meetings and direct unit treatment operations Perform minor and occasional major surgeries Hold clinics for nursing specialists Maintain relationships with facility staff, nursing staff, contract providers, and outside agencies Utilize established policies and procedures while exercising independent judgment Monitor inpatient hospitalizations and facilitate early release when appropriate Prepare and maintain medical records and reports Graduate from an accredited school of medicine Licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment Valid driver's license required US Citizenship required for ICE clearance Subject to thorough background and credit investigation for clearance

- Start Date : ASAP
- End Date : 6 months from start date
- Schedule : 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
