American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center requiring a TX or compact RN license, TNCC, and Epic experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Emergency Department of a short-term acute care hospitalLevel II Trauma Center environment with a 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratioNight shifts, 7p to 7a, with a block schedule (3x12 hours per week)Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks, including Friday and Saturday nightsNo floating between units, but may be required to float between sister facilities nearbyEpic EMR experience is requiredExpected to provide comprehensive emergency care in a fast-paced trauma settingSolid navy blue scrubs are required for licensed RN staffCommitment to work at least 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)Must complete pre-start online modules, averaging 16 hours, prior to beginning assignmentReturn staff policy allows returning after 3 months from previous employment at the facilityFree employee and visitor parking availableFirst-time travelers are accepted\n \n Requirements\n
Active TX or compact RN license in hand at time of considerationAt least 1 year of recent ER experience is requiredCertifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSSAble to work assigned night and weekend shifts as scheduledCompliant background check with no hits on Nursys or background screeningCannot reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility for travel eligibilityMust provide two supervisory references from within the last three years covering one year of work in a comparable settingExperience with Epic EMR is required\n Benefits\n
