Position : GIS Specialist

Location : Bogotá DC

Project : (GIS) and (5) Collaborative, Learning and Adaptation tasks (CLA) for the MEL activity, conducting the evaluability assessment of the Amazon Alive activity (AA).

Background : Through this activity, USAID / Colombia's Environment Office aims to address deforestation and biodiversity loss in Colombia. The evaluability assessment seeks to propose options for a robust, cost-effective, and reliable impact evaluation, including possible measurable outcomes, additional information needs, and budget considerations.

We are seeking a GIS specialist to support this evaluability assessment. Key responsibilities and requirements include :

• Supporting spatial data analysis and mapping related to the activity's objectives.
• Collaborating with the team to identify geospatial data needs.
• Providing technical expertise in GIS tools and methodologies.
