Database Administrator

A company is looking for a Database Administrator III.

Key Responsibilities

Plans and organizes database activities, ensuring reliability, performance, and security

Designs, develops, and maintains physical databases and associated documentation

Provides production support and monitors database performance and security

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in programming / systems, computer science, or information systems

5 or more years of database administration experience with various database management systems

Broad understanding of information systems and database licensing

Thorough knowledge of performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning

Specialized training or certification in database management is preferred
