Job Title : Anesthesiologist (BE / BC) - 1099 Independent Contractor

Location : Murfreesboro, NC

Position Type : Independent Contractor, 1099

Work Schedule : 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off (Including Nights & Weekends)

  • Part-time option available with a 1 Week On schedule.

Overview :

A healthcare facility in the Murfreesboro, NC area is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join their team as an independent contractor. The role involves providing anesthesia services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on a variety of surgical cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and OB / GYN. The position offers flexibility with a work schedule of two weeks on and two weeks off.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Clinical Duties : Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general anesthesia, blocks, and labor epidurals.
  • Case Management : Manage approximately 180 surgical cases per month, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care.
  • CRNA Supervision : Oversee and collaborate with a team of experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
  • Shared Call : Participate in a shared call rotation to ensure continuous coverage, including nights and weekends.

    • Qualifications :

  • Board Certification : Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
  • Licensure : Must have or be willing to obtain a medical license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Experience : Experience in managing a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and OB / GYN, is preferred.
