Position Overview

We are searching for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our dedicated imaging team. In this role, you'll utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct essential diagnostic tests, working hand in hand with a cohesive group of healthcare providers, all while ensuring that patients receive caring and timely attention during imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts assessments
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining procedures with empathy and understanding
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues that arise
• Accurately record procedures and manage patient documentation within our electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest ultrasound techniques and imaging best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
