• Lead the Cath Lab nursing unit and manage over 80 FTEs on a 24-hour basis, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote excellence in cardiac procedures and interventions.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity and professional development.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable standards, including Joint Commission, CMS, state regulations, and hospital policies.
• Develop and implement operational goals, policies, and protocols to improve patient outcomes, staff engagement, and overall workflow.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and analyze data to identify performance trends, service gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain budgetary oversight, resource allocation, and financial accountability for the Cath Lab unit.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, clinical excellence, and professional growth.
