Job Title : Validation Engineer – Facilities

Location : Buffalo Grove & Libertyville, IL (On-site at both facilities)

Contract Duration : 1–2 years

Rate : $60 / hr (negotiable for the right candidate) contract to hire

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Validation Engineer to join our team on a 1–2 year contract. This is a hands-on role working across two sites (Buffalo Grove and Libertyville), focusing on facilities validation within medical device and regulated manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with prior experience validating automated equipment, preferably in plastic injection molding.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead facility commissioning activities across multiple sites

Perform cleanroom validation for Class 6, 7, 8 (Buffalo Grove) and Class 9 (Libertyville) environments

Execute temperature and humidity (HR) mapping for facilities

Validate warehouse environments and automated equipment

Ensure compliance with all industry standards and internal protocols

Document validation processes, protocols, and reports accurately

Requirements :

5+ years of experience in facilities validation (medical device or regulated manufacturing)

Experience with cleanroom and warehouse validation

Experience with temperature and HR mapping

Prior experience validating automated equipment; experience with plastic injection molding is a plus

Must be a self-starter who can work independently without hand-holding

Work authorization : Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Available to start ASAP and commit for the duration of the contract
