Location : Northbrook, Illinois

Contract Duration : 8 weeks

Compensation : Up To $63 / Hour Based on Experience

Job Requirements .

  • Education Requirements : Valid SLP license and a relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Certifications Requirements : Current state licensure as an SLP.
  • Experience Requirements : Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children presenting characteristics of autism.
  • Other Requirements : Strong communication skills, ability to work with complex learners in a school setting, background check clearance, and the ability to work two days a week (days flexible within schedule).

  • Work with students presenting characteristics of autism in a classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individual speech therapy plans.
  • Provide direct speech therapy sessions twice weekly at Wescott School.
  • Document progress and communicate with team members and families as needed.
  • Support the overall speech and language development of students in a school setting.
