Essential Functions & Requirements :
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times. Actively reviews practices, workflows and systems to identify opportunities and advises on appropriate interventions for process improvements that impact production and business results. Facilitates change management by engaging with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of proactive reliability improvements; provides training and support to employees at all levels to encourage the adoption of new processes and tools. Drives knowledge exchange with technology experts (plant resources, engineering solutions, internal / external consultant groups, sister plants, etc.) to increase awareness of potential improvement opportunities. Encourages innovative thinking and explores new technologies or methodologies that could further enhance reliability within the company. Analyzes equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends. Conducts root cause analysis to determine the underlying cause of problems. Maintains responsibility for maintenance programs for data extraction and trends to create overall strategic improvements. Designs, develops and implements new maintenance procedures including monitoring and testing equipment. Identifies new technologies and processes that can improve equipment performance and reliability. Monitors the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and makes necessary adjustments. Creates and presents reports on initiatives and their impact to leadership. Analyzes business processes and equipment end-to-end to identify improvements and recommend solutions. Maintains the ability to travel to Arcwood facilities as needed. Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in engineering (required)
Experience :
10+ years of proven experience in reliability engineering (required) 7+ years of project management experience (required) Previous experience in industrial maintenance (required)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, drive change and influence others Results-orientation with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information from a variety of sources Ability to see the big picture, while translating details into an organizational perspective Ability to develop and track KPIs for risk aversion, proactive maintenance and reliability initiatives Analytical thinking, with the ability to think critically and logically, as well as the ability to work with large sets of data and concisely make sense of them Technical aptitude and a strong understanding of the systems, equipment, and processes at hand, including knowledge of the engineering principles and specific systems used across the organization Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to collaborate effectively with others Strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively, including planning, scheduling, and organizing Strong attention to detail and precision when analyzing data, implementing improvements and documenting results Proficiency in tools such as MPulse, PowerBI, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite applications, data analysis software (e.g. Minitab, Excel), ERP systems, and knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
