About The Position

Job Title : RN Operating Room Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Operating Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 10 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience in the Operating Room required License : Must hold a valid nursing license Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : Level 1 Trauma experience Strong scrub and circulate skills Experience in Orthopedics, Orthopedic Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery Description : Position entails working in the Operating Room. Shifts are scheduled as 4 days per week from 12 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM. Call requirements include one 12-hour shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday. There is no weekday call. Weekend work is required, with every other weekend scheduled. Requests for time off are limited to 5 days maximum, with no more than 2 consecutive days off. Requests for time off are not permitted on holidays or on weekends. Clinicians may be required to float to meet facility needs. Floating may occur within a 50-mile radius and can be assigned 2 hours before a shift. Refusal to float may result in cancellation. All clinicians must be responsive and adhere to deadlines for compliance. Lab work must be completed within a specified timeframe after accepting an assignment.
