Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong reputation across the Bay Area for delivering ground-up affordable housing and healthcare (OSHPD / HCAI) projects. The team is tight-knit and hands-on, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability where everyone is encouraged to contribute and grow. They're currently strengthening their healthcare division and have a robust pipeline of both affordable housing and medical facility projects throughout San Francisco and the East Bay. At the moment, the company is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager ready to step up, or an established Project Manager with OSHPD / HCAI experience, to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step in their career while working on meaningful, community-driven projects. The first assignment will be a ground-up affordable housing development in the Mission District, followed by other high-impact projects across the region.
Job Description
Manage all phases of construction, from preconstruction through project closeout. Lead coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality control. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance. Support field operations teams to maintain alignment between office and jobsite activities. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a polished and professional company representative. Ensure full compliance with safety standards, OSHPD / HCAI requirements, and project documentation procedures.
