Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Des Moines, IA 50309 (Iowa nursing jobs) Unit : Cardiology N3 – Telemetry Setting : On-site, Travel Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts Schedule : 4x12 hour shifts per week (48 hours / week), every 4th weekend / holiday rotation if scheduled Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Bed Size : 24 Patient Ratios : Nights 1 : 6 Scrubs : Navy blue, solids Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880–$2020 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Cardiac nursing experience, including vascular patient care Previous travel nursing contract completed within the last 12 months (no first-time travelers) Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and titration of cardiac drips (e.g., Nitro, Cardene, Heparin, Diltiazem, Dopamine) Experience with CABG, ICD, Pacemaker, and vascular surgical patients Familiarity with Alaris IV pumps and wound vac equipment Active Iowa RN license (Registered Nurse license in Iowa) Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required) Ability to float across campuses and similar clinical units as needed Excellent communication and teamwork skills Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiac and vascular patients in a telemetry setting Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate cardiac drips, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EPIC EMR system Float to other campuses and similar nursing units as required Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in Des Moines, Iowa, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
