Let's do this. Let's change the world. The Forecasting team at Amgen serves as a key partner to Commercial leadership, providing strategic guidance and data-backed insights. As the Executive Director of Forecasting, you will lead a team of 4-5 directors and oversee a total team size of 30-35 individuals. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, data-driven insights, and scenario-planning guidance to support critical decision-making processes across the organization. This role requires a dynamic leader who can navigate complex environments, foster collaboration, and drive innovation to maximize the commercial success of Amgen's portfolio. The individual in this role will need to skillfully influence and challenge a diverse set of senior stakeholders from Commercial, Access, Medical, Finance, and Manufacturing, while proficiently understanding the nuances of all therapeutic areas Amgen operates in.
Additionally, the Executive Director of US Forecasting at Amgen will play a pivotal role within the CD&A leadership team, collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure alignment and synergies across functions. This individual will work hand-in-hand with leaders from market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, data strategy, marketing investment optimization, and other relevant areas to leverage their insights and expertise in developing comprehensive and accurate forecasts.
By fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among cross-functional teams, the Executive Director will harness the collective intelligence of the organization to inform strategic decision-making and drive business success. This collaborative approach will not only ensure that forecasts are based on the most up-to-date information and analysis but also facilitate a deeper understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
