Position: Telemarketing Representative
Location: Bakersfield, CA

Are you an outgoing communicator who enjoys making connections and thrives in a fast-paced environment? Looking for a foot in the door with a reputable insurance agency? Join our high-performing State Farm Insurance Agent office in Bakersfield, CA as a Telemarketing Representative, where youll generate leads and support our licensed sales team.

Position Overview


This role is designed for individuals looking to break into the insurance and financial services industry through lead generation. Its a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional office environment, with potential for growth into a licensed sales role. No insurance license is required to start but for those who thrive in this role, we offer resources and support to help you become licensed.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead Generation: Actively prospect and identify potential insurance customers through outbound calls, follow-ups, and referral activity.
  • Customer Engagement: Start meaningful conversations to build interest in State Farm products like auto, home, renters, and life insurance.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule in-person or phone appointments for our licensed sales team to complete insurance consultations.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the agent and team to achieve daily and weekly lead generation goals.
  • Customer Outreach: Youll engage with prospects by phone, text, email, and in person as appropriate.
  • Commitment to Success: Maintain high energy, professionalism, and daily focus on results.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
