The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE Requirements - MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE / PCU EXPERIENCE - BLS - High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required - Telemetry Experience Required - RN License (NY License ONLY) - Two (2) Years Experience Needs experience in Q1 neuro checks, EVDs, lumbar drains, sub-dural drains, 3%NS and cardene drips, arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil / clips, DBS Insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator), VP shunts, seizures.
