Med / Surg RN Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Medical Surgical Unit Location : Roswell, New Mexico 88201 Unit : Med / Surg (EXT-Other 911) Start Date : October 6, 2025 End Date : January 5, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680 Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 (occasionally 1 : 7) Electronic Medical Record : Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System Scrub Color : Royal Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Ability to float as needed (may float to ICU for Med / Surg overflow or Step Down patients) Availability for every other weekend shifts Fingerprinting required for New Mexico travel nursing jobs (agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico) Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Provide patient and family education and support Float to other units as needed, including ICU for Med / Surg overflow Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System Discover the benefits of travel nursing in Roswell, New Mexico.
