Role : Treatment Coordinator

Job Type : Full-time, Non-exempt

Reports To : Doctor & Practice Manager

Pay Range : $20.00-$25.00 / hr

Description :

A Treatment Coordinator's main priority is to not only be the best part of our patient's day, but to see their assigned patients in a timely manner, while creating the most special patient experience and connection. The Treatment Coordinator's main goal is to convert as many patients as possible.

Essential Job Functions :

• Responsible for seeing every consultation in your assigned column throughout the day. These consultations may vary between New Patient Exams, Observations, Conferences, Treatment Summaries, Re-Treat Exams, and Re-Exams.
• Responsible for making sure you complete all necessary duties from the previous consultation before moving on to the next patients, keeping your time limit to the allocated appointment time templated.
• Convert as many patients as possible into same day starts as SDS are part of our culture. If a patient cannot start same day, then it is your responsibility to schedule their next appointment before they leave the office!
• Must have a knowledge and understanding of all orthodontic appliances and procedures recommended throughout treatment. (Expanders, Bracket Types, Extractions / Exposures, Bite Correctors, Interproximal Reduction, etc.)
• Responsible for documenting all details from the consultations in the patient's chart.
• Responsible for writing up and reviewing financial arrangements, proposals and autopayments as well as taking down payments for your same day starts. You must be comfortable discussing / handling money and be very detailed when taking payments and what the terms cover prior to receiving final signatures from the responsible party.
