American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and current CA license for a busy hospital setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an interventional radiology department within a hospital environmentPatient populations include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsSpecialized procedures include laser-assisted interventions, angioplasty, biopsies, stent placements, and embolizationsExperience with procedures such as ERCP, paracentesis, thoracentesis, cholecystostomy, nephrostomy, and vascular colure systemsEquipment includes Omnicell medication systemElectronic documentation is requiredDay shift schedule : 5x8 hour shifts, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMCall required 1-2 days per week and one weekend per monthWeekend coverage every third weekendCandidates may float within the hospital based on census needsScrubs are provided for all staffModules must be completed during orientation with hours varying by specialtyEpic EMR training is provided as part of onboardingNo previous permanent staff within the facility may applyFirst-time travelers will be considered only with sufficient experienceTime-off requests must be less than 5 days and must be presented at the time of applicationOne reference from the last 2 years is required for considerationLocals are accepted under different pay structure\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience requiredPrevious travel experience requiredCurrent CA state license required for considerationCertifications required : ARRT R, CCI RCIS, BLS, and ACLSProficiency in a broad range of interventional and special proceduresAbility to interpret dysrhythmias and maintain sterile field in scrub roleExperience with Omnicell medication systemLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
