WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Surgery Center in Englewood, NJ.

Job Function :

Day Shift.

6 : 30am - 3pm.

Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Prepare patients for surgery as requested.

Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts before and after operations, documenting according to policy.

Provide technical support to surgeons, operating room nurses, and anesthesiologists as needed.

Clean and sterilize surgical equipment using proper sterilization techniques.

Operate, adjust, and maintain surgical equipment to ensure proper functionality. Monitor inventory levels and order surgical supplies as necessary.

Job Requirements :

Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program.

Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

BLS preferred (American Heart Association).

2 year of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required.
