Do you love providing hands-on healthcare in the community? Then we have a spot waiting for you. We are seeking an engaging Medical Assistant to join our new Pediatric mobile unit team. You will support our providers with patient care onboard the mobile unit and in the field. You will assist providers with patient care including preparing patients for examination and treatment, assisting with procedures, performing laboratory tests and other functions, and educating patients on their treatment plan.

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do :

• Perform patient intake duties such as patient registration, check in / out, insurance verification, consent forms, payment processing,
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment including obtaining and documenting patient demographics, medical history, allergies, medication usage, and reasons for visit
• Assess patient’s conditions by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, respiration, height and weight, and BMI.
• Perform onsite testing, labs, and immunizations.
• Document patient's information in the EMR-medical records system (eClinicalWorks).
