Lead Maintenance Technician

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment or similar position.
• Experience on PLC and electrical circuitry troubleshooting
• Experience with VFD's and Servo Motor Drives
• Experience working on mechanical and / or electrical equipment (installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
• Understanding of electrical circuits and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Will need to be able to work overtime as required.
• Be dependable with a commitment to attendance and punctuality.
• Be able to work well with others in a plant environment including weekends (if necessary).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Welding / machining skills a plus.
• Normal working hours are Monday 4 : 30am-4pm and Tuesday through Thursday 5 : 30AM-4pm with Fridays and weekends only if required.

Physical Requirements

Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and the like, using feet and legs and / or hands and arms. Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slipper, or erratically moving surfaces. Bend body downward and forward by bending at the waist. Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Push, pull, lift, and grasp, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Must have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat on occasion.
