Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Summary :

Women's Care McDowell is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join its established Women’s Care practice in Marion, NC.

Qualified Candidates :

  • Board certified or board eligible
  • Available to provide home call coverage 1 weekday per week (24-hour call) and 1 weekend a month (7 am Friday - 7 am Monday)
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required;  can certify on site

Position Overview :

  • Join a team of 3 OBGYNS, 2 midwives, 1 FM-OB, and a lactation consultant; MFM Consultation available at nearby tertiary care center
  • Facility reports 25-40 deliveries per month, with balanced obstetric and gynecologic case volumes
  • Physician will be based at Women's Care McDowell (Marion, NC), and will rotate to satellite clinic and OR sites in Spruce Pine and Forest City
  • Please note that this position does not offer visa support
