Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
  • Provide age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Document resident interactions and communicate any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
  • Support residents during meals and create a positive dining experience.
  • Participate in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required, or must be obtained within four months of starting.
  • Completion of yearly competency testing and continuing education (minimum of 12 hours annually).
  • Must be able to support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address.

    • Working Conditions

    This position requires a minimum of 30 hours per month, including at least one weekend shift. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as shifts may vary.
