What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any unusual circumstances according to established protocols.

Enforce access control policies and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.

Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and observations.

Maintain readiness and proper handling of assigned equipment and / or firearm in accordance with company and client procedures.

Assist in crowd management and / or the direction of pedestrian flow during busy periods or specific events at the location.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid and current concealed carry weapons permit is required.

Completion of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program is required.

A current armed guard card or license is required.

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
