About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Development to spearhead our fundraising and outreach efforts. This pivotal role will oversee alumni relations, annual giving, and donor relationships, while developing a robust donor relations program. You will be instrumental in strategic planning and in executing innovative fundraising initiatives aimed at nurturing long-term philanthropic support.

As the Executive Director of the Foundation, you will ensure effective governance and transparency, aligning all efforts with the university's mission and goals. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and a thorough understanding of higher education advancement. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to lead a dynamic team.

A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree preferred, along with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in university advancement or a similar field. Candidates with a strong background in fundraising and proficiency in CRM software, as well as the ability to identify, cultivate, and solicit contributions from individuals and organizations, are highly encouraged to apply. You will work closely with university leadership to enhance our philanthropic strategy and engage donors effectively.
