Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Montgomery, Alabama. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, supporting the company's financial operations with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities :

• Conduct heavy data entry to support key financial functions.
• Perform fixed asset accounting and maintain accurate records.
• Process accounts receivable and post cash transactions promptly.
• Handle accounts payable tasks and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and enter journal entries to support financial reporting.
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts to ensure proper balance.
• Review and adjust approximately 30 entries for accuracy and completeness.
