Functional Architect For Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-facing Functional Architect with deep subject matter expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM). The ideal candidate will be a key contributor in our client engagements, responsible for leading discovery workshops, analyzing business requirements, and designing robust and scalable solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle SCM Cloud. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis :

Lead client workshops and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements related to the entire supply chain, including inventory management, order fulfillment, procurement, and logistics.

Solution Design & Configuration :

Translate business requirements into a functional design document. Architect and configure the Oracle SCM Cloud application to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.

Advisory & Strategy :

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on best-in-class supply chain processes and how to optimize their use of the Oracle Cloud platform.

Implementation Leadership :

Guide the technical team in the development of customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.

Sales & Presales Support :

Assist in presales activities, including the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and product demonstrations for prospective clients.

Mentorship :

Mentor and provide guidance to junior functional consultants, helping them grow their expertise in Oracle SCM.

Qualifications

Experience :

A minimum of 15 years of experience with Oracle applications, with at least 5 years focused on implementing and configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.

Technical Knowledge :

In-depth understanding of core SCM processes and modules, including :

• Inventory Management
• Order Management
• Procurement
• Logistics (Shipping and Transportation Management)
• Supply Planning and Cost Management

Client Skills :

Proven ability to lead and manage client relationships, conduct effective workshops, and present complex information clearly and concisely.

Communication :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address client challenges.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Cloud implementation certifications, specifically in SCM Cloud.

Experience with integrations to ERP, CRM, or external logistics systems.

Familiarity with supply chain analytics and reporting tools.

Travel :

50% travel to Austin, TX for the first 6-8 months and then 25% ongoing travel.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring Range in USD from $46.30 to $95.91 per hour; from : $96,300 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
