Job description

A law firm is seeking a self-motivated and business-minded Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in the courtroom and experience managing an active litigation caseload from inception to completion. The attorney will be responsible for drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, conducting legal research, and fostering client relationships. The role offers a dynamic environment for growth and advancement.

Location : Duties :

Manage an active litigation caseload from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
Conduct in-depth legal research, analysis, and writing with a focus on high-quality results.
Develop and nurture client relationships while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Collaborate and foster teamwork with colleagues and clients at all levels.
Provide exceptional written and verbal communication in all legal matters.
Work closely with the team to ensure successful case outcomes.

Requirements :

5-10 years of experience in civil litigation.

Proven ability to manage a litigation caseload from inception to completion.

Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.

Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and grow business.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Attorneys admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin.

Education :

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (Preferred).

Certifications :

Admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin.

Skills :

Excellent legal research and writing abilities.

Strong litigation skills and courtroom experience.

Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Business development and client relationship management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
