Production Worker
$17-$19/hr
Job Description
Perform work on the production line, including running equipment, inspecting, stacking, separating, counting, and packing products. Conduct quality checks and accurately record information. Monitor machinery and equipment operation to ensure all products meet performance specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment on the production line.
- Inspect and pack products according to quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and document results.
- Ensure machinery and equipment meet performance specifications.
- Work efficiently to maintain production rates.
- Ascend and descend stairs or ladders to access machinery and production areas.
Essential Skills
- 6 months to 1 year of production experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic skills in inspection and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with general production and packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level position with 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Willingness to work hard and learn new skills.
- Ability to work at heights and around moving machinery.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing and production environment that may expose you to high places, moving machinery, and varying temperatures and humidity. The environment can be loud, with dust, odors, and fumes present. Production occurs indoors with a team size of approximately 90 people per shift. Dress code includes shorts or jeans, a clean work shirt, and steel toe or composite shoes. Shifts include A/B (6:45 AM - 6:45 PM), C/D (6:45 PM - 6:45 AM), days (6:30 AM - 3 PM Mon-Fri), nights (10:30 PM - 7 AM Sun-Thurs), and mids (2:30 PM - 11 PM Mon-Fri) with shift differentials.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.79 - $18.54/hr.
