Position Overview
The Globalization Program Manager, Payments Optimization is responsible for the successful delivery of the globalization roadmap in accordance with long range plan (LRP) commitments and associated value targets. This highly strategic and visible initiative requires the leading of multiple business and technology workstreams running in parallel, utilizing disciplined project management governance in close collaboration with leadership, cross-functional teams, and business partners across the organization. This position assumes end-to-end accountability for both individual globalization projects and large programs consisting of multiple projects.
The Globalization Program Manager will coordinate the work of multiple projects, maintain interlocking schedules, track task completion and status reporting. This role will drive all stages of the project management lifecycle, facilitating collaboration and documentation between the business, product, sales, and technology teams. This includes assisting with discovery, requirements, standard operating procedures, and necessary collaterals.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the delivery of our comprehensive strategies for global expansion, ensuring alignment with Zelis and Payments’ overall business objectives
Partner closely with sales, account management and business development teams prioritize and maximize the globalization opportunities across the Zelis customer base and business operations
Stay abreast of regulations, compliance, and client contractual requirements, ensuring the company's adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks for different markets and clients
Drive initiatives focused on innovation, efficiency, controls, standard processes & cost saving opportunities
Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across global operations
Gather, analyze, and document business, system, operational and reporting requirements in a formalized manner
Develop comprehensive business cases to understand the relative costs and value associated with the globalization roadmap and operational footprint decisions
Track operational improvement initiatives to ensure financial value and / or savings are realized
Required Qualifications
8+ years of program or large-scale project management experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
CAPM or PMP Certification
Healthcare, Payors, Health Insurance Industry experience
Global operations or technology program management or delivery experience (captive, BPO, ITO)
Experience managing complex multi-workstream and time sensitive projects and programs
Ability to use quantitative data to inform decisions
Success driving results, identifying, and solving issues, and sound decision making
Proficiency in analyzing business needs and creating necessary documentation and system improvements requests to optimize functionality and productivity
