Opthalmic Technician

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, friendly, efficient, and dependable ophthalmology technician needed for a two-physician multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. Our practice incorporates ophthalmology and plastic surgery and the candidate will be expected to eventually become familiar with both sides. We will be adding an in-office surgical suite this year and the candidate can be cross-trained to assist with surgeries. (Don't worry, we'll train you!)

Applicant should be able to do a manifest refraction, applanation tonometry, and eventually become proficient at OCT, Pentacam, IOL Master, immersion A-scan, Optos, iTrace, and meibography.

Our practice is very patient-satisfaction centric and we want our patients and staff to feel good at the end of the day!

Sales and customer service experience, the ability to speak Spanish, and certification are looked upon favorably.
