The Country Officer for Data Protection will act as the central point of contact and coordinating instance for all data protection related issues for all US companies within the Liebherr Group. The officer will be providing expert and professional support to ensure that US companies within the Liebherr Group comply with applicable national data protection regulations relevant to the handling of personal and business data.
The tasks will include setting up / designing a data protection organization within the United States and subsequently establishing it with the necessary data protection responsibility company officers. As the central point of contact key data protection issues and topics in the country will be managed. Data protection stakeholders within the organization will be advised and supported

Responsibilities
Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data protection, compliance, or a related field. Experience in a corporate environment is highly desirable.
